Delete conversations
Deleting conversations allows users to remove chats they no longer want to keep in their account.
As users interact with different AI Characters, they may create many conversations over time. Some conversations may be temporary, completed stories, or simply no longer useful.
The delete feature helps users keep their conversation space organized by removing specific chat histories.
Deleting a conversation can be useful when users want to:
- Remove old discussions
- Clean up their chat list
- Remove completed story sessions
- Keep their conversation area organized
When a conversation is deleted, it is removed from the user's accessible chat history. Users should only delete conversations they no longer need because the removed content may no longer be available for future reference.
Archive conversations
Archiving conversations allows users to hide chats from their main conversation list while keeping them available for later.
Unlike deleting, archiving does not remove the conversation. It simply moves it away from the active chat area.
Archiving is useful for conversations that users may want to revisit later, such as:
- Long Character stories
- Important discussions
- Creative writing sessions
- Interesting Character interactions
- Ongoing adventures
Archived conversations help users keep their chat list clean without losing previous interactions.
For example, a user may archive a completed adventure with a Character while keeping it available to read again in the future.
The archive system makes it easier to manage many conversations while preserving valuable interactions.
Rename conversations
Renaming conversations allows users to give chats a custom title that makes them easier to recognize.
By default, conversation names may be generated automatically based on the discussion. Custom names help users organize their chats and quickly identify specific interactions.
Users can rename conversations to highlight:
- The Character involved
- The topic discussed
- The story being created
- The purpose of the conversation
For example, instead of a generic conversation title, a user can rename a chat to something more meaningful like:
- "My journey with the space explorer"
- "The lost kingdom adventure"
- "Learning magic with the wizard"
Renaming conversations makes the chat history easier to browse and helps users quickly return to the conversations they care about.
